One of my favorite pictures of my daughter was taken at a small zoo in North Mississippi. She stood face-to-face with a giraffe, eyes wide with wonder, completely in awe of this towering, gentle giant. In that moment, she wasn’t distracted, doubtful, or worried—just fully present, taking it all in.
Somewhere along the way, many of us lose that sense of wonder. We trade curiosity for routine, excitement for stress, and presence for distractions. But what if we could bring that perspective back—not through fleeting motivation, but through daily discipline?
